HOTEL DE CARIBE
Hotel de Caribe was the first hotel built in
Cartagena de Indias and the Colonial Tower is now considered a National
Monument by the Colombian government.
Many national and international figures have been
guests at this piece of history which was built on a large empty lot by
Icacos Bay in the Bocagrande neighborhood. Today this neighborhood is one
of the most important tourist sectors in the city. Since its beginning,
the Hotel de Caribe has displayed the best and most elite in
entertainment, bullfighting, literature and beautiful women in Colombia.

PLYMOUTH
The striking geometry of the Plymouth Hotel marks
the building, designed by Anton Skislewicz and completed in 1940, as an Art
Deco classic.
The Durban Art Deco Society has formulated a number
of 'Tropical Deco' colour schemes that are sympathetic to the era but
also have contemporary sensibilities. Below are colour schemes that will give
your building an authentic look.
These palettes are intended to be a guide to the
proportions of base colour, contrast colour and highlight colour required to
create an authentic ART DECO colour rendering.

ST. MORITZ, MIAMI
Everything is on a grand scale. Built in 1939, the
St. Moritz is one of the most exotic hotels in Miami. Architecturally the hotel
combines modernism, cubism, futurism with geometrical forms in the Persian and
Egyptian style. Restored in 1998 to its original Art Deco splendor.
